Sleepiness and tiredness are common among patients with obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Using data from more than 200 patients, including those with high apnoea-hypopnea index score, this study examines correlation between self-reported sleepiness and tiredness with results of cardiorespiratory monitoring. No correlations were found and therefore, the investigators conclude that neither monosymptomatic sleepiness nor tiredness are good predictors of OSA.
